I have been thinking of what to write for Fridays’ Blog post.

Monday is meant to be motivational, as I know many of you out there will face Monday’s blues when it comes to “Mondays”. You can read my blog post, to cheer up and get your momentum going. Wednesday is meant to be my personal sharing on finance.Friday, is something miscellaneous. The post will be up to my discretion. :)

Today, I am going to share with you, something special. I am going to share with you, on how to create a strong pool of loyal clients.You see,….. in any business, you are in, nothing beats a pool of loyal clients, ready to BUY from you. In any business you are in, you have to provide that kind of DIFFERENTIATION to ensure that your clients will maintain their loyalty with you. You need to differentiate yourself, so that they buy from YOU and not from someone else.

The strategies, I am about to share is way….heady and practical.

1) Create A Sustainable Competitive Advantage and communicate it to your clients

I tell all my clients UPFRONT, that I am a qualified financial associate in Singapore and I have Diploma In Accountancy. I earned the trust to manage the finance of more than 150 families and NOW working my way up to be the top financial associate in Singapore.

You have a financial goal, and I will MAKE SURE YOU ACHIEVE IT with peace of mind.

(The best way to challenge your SCA is to then question yourself, “So What……?” Continue to question your SCA until you find a profound statement, that is simply hard to refute )

2) Come up with a list of reasons on why they should buy from your company

I tell my clients that NTUC Income is the only cooperative in Singapore. Other companies are commercialised companies. Commercialised companies, when they make profit, they distribute as dividends to shareholders. When NTUC Income makes profit, we distribute as bonuses to policyholders.NTUC income is the first and only insurance company in Singapore that disclose our policy yields every single year.NTUC Income double A rating in times of crisis.NTUC Income backed by the labour movement of Singapore.

You should also come out with a list of reasons, why people should buy from your company and not your competitors. :)

3) Print a comparison chart against competitors

I have all sorts of comparison chart ready, should clients love to compare. In any business you are in, you not only have to know your product well, you have to know what is “in the market”.

4) Get feedback from clients who dont buy & refine your product or sales method

When client dont buy, just ask them why they CHOOSE not to buy. Refine and learn from there. You see, in any sales endeavour,you embarked in, there will be at least 5 MOST common objections that you will faced. Manage the objections well, and always asked  your prospect on how, you can improve your presentation style.

5) Use proven sales script

You see. Many people like to reinvent the wheel and expect success to overflow to them. History has proven otherwise. The first company that introduced search engine (AltaVista) failed to dominate the market. Google take over! The company that first introduced computers (Commodore) failed too. IBM and Apple take over. You see….in order to be successful, you dont have to really reinvent something new.

Take a look at Japan. After World War 2, they are really at a disastrous state. What they did, is that they modelled the industrial successful countries (make cars, electronic products etc2), literally copied them and MAKE IT BETTER!

The same goes to your business, or sales job. You have to just model people who are successful in the industry. You copy their style and MAKE IT BETTER. Ask questions. What do they do DIFFERENTLY from you that enable them to meet more success than you? If they can do it, all of us can do it. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting entirely DIFFERENT results.

6) Testimonials

Affirmations from independent parties that literally says “You are good” is thousands more times POWERFUL than you tell people for yourself of your “wonderful” service.

I am working towards that, and I strongly believe you SHOULD too! :)
