To break the vicious cycle , we must break the shackles thats pulling us back preventing us from reaching our full potential.

I feel that being content is not enough.

I think especially among the Malay Muslim community we tend to have this "takpelah... bersyukur je lah ngan ape kau ade" or "nevermind... just be thankful with what you have..."

This kind of mindset have been stuck in us for generations and ultimately pouring water the flame putting out the desire to do even better than what we have achieved so far.

Good thing within the Malay community we are seeing people awaking from their slumber ready to make their mark in the world.

Fina.J >>> Nap.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.

If you are not willing to take the first step, then dont ever think of reaching the destination.

...and the very step, everyone need to take is a big, big change.

Yes...You have to change your mindset. :)

Have you ever why some people strike toto and then came back to become poor people a few years later?

and have you ever heard of people who work their way up to be rich, and lost all their money, and work again to rise to become one of the most prominent, most wealthiest people in the industry? (Donald Trump)

What is their difference?

It is the mindset.

So Fina, it is never my intention to insult the poor.

I am only emphasizing my point of contention that there is a need for the poor to change their mindset in order for them to be successful financially.

Thank you :)

seems like ur insulting the poor helmi hakim, haven't it occur to you that maybe the poor do not have sufficient capital to start with although they wish they could. .

more money at hand means more responsibility, agree?

u sounded so money-minded.

people would agree, even the poor would say they love money too.

you can advise people to a greater understanding of their financials but not to the extend of degrading them
