I feel that being content is not enough.

I think especially among the Malay Muslim community we tend to have this “takpelah… bersyukur je lah ngan ape kau ade” or “nevermind… just be thankful with what you have…”

This kind of mindset have been stuck in us for generations and ultimately pouring water the flame putting out the desire to do even better than what we have achieved so far.

Good thing within the Malay community we are seeing people awaking from their slumber ready to make their mark in the world.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.

If you are not willing to take the first step, then dont ever think of reaching the destination.

…and the very step, everyone need to take is a big, big change.

I am only emphasizing my point of contention that there is a need for the poor to change their mindset in order for them to be successful financially.
