I read this story in an email being forwarded to me…
Read it. Its enlightening 🙂
There was once a very famous motivational speaker.
He had a driver who followed him to all his speaking engagements. The driver saw and heard the motivational speaker spoke so often that he knew word for word what the motivational speaker was going to say.
He became an expert too.
The driver told the motivational speaker that he could speak just as well. One day when the motivational speaker was not feeling well, the driver asked for a chance to speak in his place.
The motivational speaker agreed and the driver went on stage confidently and gave the best motivational speech of his life.
The motivational speaker was shocked because the driver spoke and moved exactly like him.
The driver got a standing ovation from the big audience at the end of his speech. After the speech, it was question time. One of the audiences asked a very difficult question. The driver knew that there was no way he could answer the question.
He paused for a moment and confidently told the audience that the question was too easy for him so he will ask his driver(the motivational speaker) to answer it instead.
SUCCESS PRINCIPLE
It is easy to be successful if you find a successful person as a mentor to follow.
To be successful you have to be a good “copycat” and follow what successful
people do.
Let them be your role model.
Follow what they do, what they believe in, how they move, how they talk, and what they think about most of the time.
If they succeed in what they do, you can also have the same degree of success if you role model them.
Successful people have developed a pattern of excellence.

This song had impacted me for a very very long time.
Every time, I feel down, I will listen to it.
Every time, I feel unmotivated, I will listen to it.
Every time, I feel doubtful of my own unique capabilities, this is the song I
will first listen to.
Its a source of inspiration to me!
I believe we can achieve anything in life if we truly believe in it.
Napolean Hill says that whatever your mind can conceive and believe, your
body can achieve.
Sometimes, we know deep down in our heart, we are capable to achieve the
goals that we have set for ourselves.
We know, we can do it.
We can feel it.
We believe in it.
However, unfavorable circumstances set against us make us doubtful of our own
capabilities. We begin to question ourselves.
We begin to question our own capabilities.
For me, I have a formula which I stick by tenaciously.
E + R = O
Event + Response = Outcome
Everyone face with setbacks, obstacles, difficulties or failures in life.
What differentiate the winner and the loser is in how they responded to that
event.
Example Thomas Edison when he failed to invent the bulb 10,000 times,
instead of saying I failed 10,000 times, he told everyone
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t
work.“….
If your girlfriend/boyfriend left you, instead of feeling down, you can say,
“Its okay….I can find a better one” 😛
I really love this formula… It gels well with the theory of reframing.
If you are fat, instead of saying you are fat, say things like, “I have
undeveloped muscles” 🙂
If you cant do sales, instead of continually feeling down and screwing
yourself with negative words, say things like, “I have not yet find the
strategies to do sales effectively”.
If you are slow in learning new things, instead of saying this is difficult
or I am stupid, say positive, encouraging things like “I need more time to
digest these concept thoroughly”.
In that way, every difficulties, every adversities will be a breeze for you
to handle…That’s the way a successful individual shaped his thinking! 🙂

Stay away from people who try to belittle your ambition. Small people always do that, but the great ones makes you too feel you are great.
This is a powerful, profound statement.
This statement has influenced my life.
When you mixed people who are negative, people who like to talk bad about you, put negative labels on you, look down on your capabilities, I have the best advice for you.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
Yes..You don’t need them. They are the hindrance to your success.
They are the anchors, the originators, the bad influences who will try to negate the negative voice in yourself, proclaiming that you cant make it in your field of endeavour.
Some people put down others so that they can feel better for themselves. These are insecure people. Don’t make yourself a victim of their unscrupulous, malicious, unethical intent.
In life, I believe 2 things will influence you, will shape you to who you will become in the future.
1) The books you read
The books you read will shape your mindset, the way you think, the way you look at yourself, the way you interpret your surroundings, they way you behave.
Personally, I read lots and lots of books.
I read books by Robert Kiyosaki, books by Adam Khoo, books by Brian Tracy, Anthony Robbins and lots more.
I have spent thousands of dollars investing in books, CDs, seminars and motivational programs.
These are the things that influence me and shape the way I think today.
I only believe in being the best and working with the best!.
2) The people you mixed with everyday
Okay…Lets just do a little exercise here.
Take out a piece of paper, and write down the names of people who are close to you.
People who you meet everyday, spent time together everyday…
List down in this manner.
1) Person 1
2) Person 2
3) Person 3
4) Person 4
5) Person 5
Now I want you to write, the estimation of their salary every month.
Total them up and average it out.
You will soon find out that the average of the pay and your pay is about the same.
Which I will simply sums up, if you want to be the best, you have to mixed with the people who possesses the caliber that you intend to have.
That is the only way for you to succeed.
Period! 🙂
