In our job as a financial associate, we faced a lot of rejections.
Yet, we still put on our happy face and fight it through.
This is what, I have learnt from the many mentors that I have met, and the many books I have read.
E + R = O
Event + Response = Outcome
(Note: I have shared this formula in my blog, yet I feel it’s worth repeating.)
Let me give you an example…
If you are a guy….
You tackle a girl of your dreams and the girl you are pursuing, REJECTS you, what should you do? 😛
1) Cry and beat yourself up
2) Refuse to eat or refuse to bath for few days
3) Go and find other girls.
Yes… You cant CHANGE the event.
Yet, you can CHOOSE the way to response to that very event and make a positive conclusion out of it.
Same like our job as financial associates.
All financial associates are basically the same, except the level of experience etc2.
All financial associates basically faced the same level of rejections.
Its the way we CHOOSE to respond to such situations.
So…to all my comrades…
Lets work together, hand in hand in pursuit to educate our clients of the importance of insurance, the importance of savings and the importance of investments.
