Some of my friends asked me, “How do you get so many clients attracted to you?”
“What are your SECRETS that make them attracted to get the financial instruments from you?”
“You make it look so easy…”
‘Come and share lei…”
Let me clear the doubts once and for all.
I have no secrets.
Its all about hard work, and hard work.
Yes…
Its all hard work.
Pure sweat and energy.
I faced lots of rejections every single day. 🙁
I create appointments with many, and lots of them postponed at the very last minute.
I guess, after all its all about trust.
Its all about the relationship that you mould and build with your clients subsequently.
Build up your credibility, go for courses to enhance your competency on financial planning and always keep in touch with your clients.
I leverage this blog to keep in touch with all my clients and also as a mean to share quality information with the public.
Just to clear the air again, no SECRETS ya!

Okay….Generally, most people when it comes to money, the first thing that comes into their mind is to SPEND it.
Many loves to spend money and many OVERSPEND it.
That is why many will need financial associates like us to help them plan their finances well. 🙂

Some people are very NEGATIVE when I vouched the word “money“.
“I dont want to be rich because I dont need to be rich.”
” I dont print money.”
“Money doesnt grow on trees.”
“I dont need much money.”
“Money is not important.”
“Having lots of money will make me less spiritual.”
These are just some remarks of poor people.
… and some may go on giving excuses, justifying themselves by giving stupid comparisons.
“Love is more IMPORTANT than money.”
“I dont want to be a work maniac. A lot of money with no happiness, no point.”
There are many excuses given.
I am not good in creating one, but I knew all of these excuses because I hear them everyday.
So…If you are one of them, and happen to be reading this blog, come on, change your mindset.
“Being rich is good”
“I can help more people if I have lots of money.”
“It is easy to make money.”
“I love money.”
“Money loves me.”
“Money flows to me easily.”
“Everyone is dieing to give me money.”
…and so on….
Believe me, if you change your mindset, money will flows to you easily…
You will always have more money than you will ever need.
You will lead life in abundance like you always wanted to.
So… Stop giving excuses.
Stop giving yourself justifications.
You are born to be rich and you will remain rich forever.
Yes…
Indeed you will be! 🙂

At times, clients feel at ease when talking to me.
They find my explanation simple and easy to understand.
I never talk too long, yet not too short.
Just nice. 🙂
Today, I will let out a little secret here. (You are very lucky, coz I dont have much secrets anyway 😛 )
If you are a financial associate like me, take my advice and I assure you, you will have lots of clients waiting eagerly, to get a plan from you without having you trying to persuade them much.
If you are my client right now, you will be nodding your head in full agreement, acknowledging what I will explain here.
Its a fact.
Everyone in Singapore knows the importance of financial planning.
They know its is very important to have insurance for coverage, to have savings for their future needs, and to have investments to meet their financial objectives in life.
This is the status quo in Singapore as majority are well educated today.
For many, they know all that.
For many, they just wants transparency in your dealings as an advisor and sincerity in your effort in recommending quality financial instruments to them.
When I communicate with my clients, I will always, always be very direct.
Straight to the point.
…and I love educated clients, because they know what I am going to say and usually even before I complete my presentation, they will just say “Okay, I will sign up the plan with you”.
I will retort “I have yet to complete my presentation. Its better for me to complete it so that you can have a clearer picture.”
Some will answer ” No need. My brother, my friends, my relatives etc2, is an insurance agents, and I get the plan from you because you explain about the plan in simple terms and I know it’s for me”.
End of story.
So… First thing first. Be very transparent.
Tell all your clients about the benefits they will get and also the charges involved. Tell you clients, what you expect from them.
Generally, advisor like us expect commitment from the client so as the clients themselves can reapt the fullest potential from the plan they have undertake.
Second thing, trustability.
I am very happy that majority of my clients trust me as their financial associates.
From trust, we build relationship, and from there, the cycle of financial planning continues.
That is what we called “long lasting business relationships”! 🙂
