What is calories all about?

As some of you know, I have just hired a personal trainer to whip me back to good shape.

I guess this must be a desperate move, yet I feel its a WORTHWHILE INVESTMENT in the long run.

Yoyo

I have been in this yoyo cycle for quite some time, and my assurance to you is that it can be very DEMORALISING to lose some weight and pile it back in no time.

I will tell you more of my weight-losing story in the upcoming post.

Meanwhile, in this post, I will like to share with you, what burning calories is all about.

We always hear, this proposition which says, “You are what you EAT“.

How true is that?

Muffin

I remember, when I am in Ho Chi Minh city, I ate lots muffins and croissant WITHOUT FEELING GUILTY.

I have no idea about calories, no idea on how much EXERCISES I need, to BURN OFF the calories that I have consumed and I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA, that I am committing the GREATEST SIN of all, in my pursuit to carve a better body for myself.

Let me enlighten you, why.

Here is a breakdown of calories for 1 muffin.

Each muffin or croissant, may be loaded up to 400 calories.

When you run 1.6km, 4 rounds in the stadium, you will only lose an average of 100 calories.

So…In order to burn the calories of 1 muffin, I NEED TO RUN 16 ROUNDS in the stadium.

That’s a feat! 🙂

I will encourage, all those who are in pursuit to lead a healthy lifestyle, to CLOSELY monitor what you eat.

That is the first step to healthy living! 🙂

40 Tips For A Better Life

I feel very angry.

Someone has been spreading rumours about me that, I am trying to steal other people staffs and getting them to be my personal assistants.

Rotten

Haiz… I hate to deal with these NEGATIVE people who spread lies, and I really hope, they will put a STOP to it.

If you are reading my blog at this very moment, I have to tell you straight, that your action is sincerely UNAPPRECIATED.

I dont know who spread these type of rumours, and I guess, I have to deal with it.

I recommend them, to read the theory law of reciprocity here.

I can go on, nagging about negativity, yet remember, E + R = O ?

I guess, its a waste of my time AND ENERGY, to deal with negative people.

By dealing with them, I am putting myself down to their level, and I would never want, to put myself to a level, where putting down others is synonymous with their lifestyle.

Remember, my post on “NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL INFERIOR WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT!”.?

I am so used to think positively and to think negatively NEEDS DOUBLE MY ENERGY!

hahahahhh…I feel like like filling up a jigsaw puzzle.

huhhhh……Feel better now, after letting my negative energy out.:)

Btw, I will like to share with you something positive now.

I have to thank my client, Kak Fardah for sharing this with me.

Thank you soooo…much… Your email came when I much need it!

Guess, blessing from God. 🙂

Let’s Get Back To Work

I guess it has been a week, I have yet to meet someone to propose them on insurance, savings or investment.

I dont know whether this is lethargic, laziness or contentment.

Btw, for the whole of next week, I will be doing roadshow at Boon Keng MRT.

I love roadshows.

This is because roadshow is the place where the weak, learn from the best and the best shares with the rest.

It is also the place where the lazy gets kick at the butt motivated to work, and the diligent advisers ride on the momentum to strive for the better.

Teamwork is important in roadshows.

Just like the beautiful melody played by the group below.

Enjoy! 🙂

P.S. : Btw, if the video above loads too slow, press pause and wait for a minute and press play again.

How Much Do You Rate Yourself?

Have you ever wonder why some people are more successful than others?

Simple…Because they give MORE VALUE!

Let me give you an analogy.

An expensive phone and a cheap one.

A Sony Ericsson K550I (the one I am using now) which cost $268 and an iphone cost $800

A phone is a phone.

A handphone is used to make and receive calls, send and received smses, and maybe a few “normal” inbuild features like calendar, alarm clock and games.

BUT why is one phone tagged at a much higher price than the other?

The answer is simple!

It is because the much expensive phone adds in more value to the owner.

An Iphone is not just a NORMAL phone.

It is a combination of a “touch screen” PDA and a phone. It carry lots of additional features.

Similarly, in life, if you want to make more money, if you want yourself to be tagged at a higher price, you need to contribute more.

You need to be more valuable in the eyes of your “evaluator”

If you are a financial advisor you need to add in “extra” services to your clients.

There are many ways to it.

You can have your own blog, publish your own book, or even have a recorded audio conference with satisfied clients (packaged in the form of testimonials) to further enhanced your credibility.

All my clients have the priviledge to be in my private mailing list, to update them of the latest changes in the industry.

They will be the first in line to receive any updates from me.

Okay…. In any profession, you are in this applies to you.

You have to add in more VALUE to others.

If you are a fried “kway teow” seller, you can add in more stuffs to your kway teow to make it more delicious. 🙂

You can give your customers to add in different types of sambal to be served with your kway teow.

You can do add in “extra stuffs” like hotdog, fishball, or anything to your original kway teow, and later sell it at a higher price. (provided it suit with your client taste)

Ever wonder why coffee in coffee bean and coffee at a normal coffee shop is priced at a different rate?

Think it deeply! 🙂
