Some of you have been querying me on why, I never update my blog for quite some time. 🙁
I am in a process, of re-strategising my business. My blog doesnt make money but it’s taking much of my time.So….. I am thinking.
Should I outsource my blog writeup to ghostwriters, OR just share compilation of articles with authors’ url on it? What do you think?! 🙂

As now, I am undergoing Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner (some motivational stuffs) certification course, I will be sharing with you some life skills that I believe will be relevant to your daily life.
Before that…..I have a question for you!
Have you encountered a friend, who speak soooo….sweetly in front of you…smiling….cracking jokes….talking good stuffs…and one day, you happen by the grace of God, find out, that he or she has been badmouthing you all along behind your back?
How will you feel? Betrayed?
If felt like piercing of the heart, slicing it thinly, spreading over the table and grinding it viciously with a sharp edged stone till it melt…..
It is the worst kind of experience that I ever have in my life, but I am thankful to it, because that experience adds in flavor to the already clear glass of watery life experiences that I had thus far.
At least,now, I know, the true character of the person,who have been masking under the shadow of hypocrisy all along.
Waited Solution: Just ignore that hypocrite, act nothing happen, and reduce contact. The more you talk, the more bad things he or she will regurgitate behind your back.

You see….In our profession as a financial consultant, it is very, very important for us, to surround ourselves with positive minded people.
Who we CHOOSE to surround ourselves everyday, will determine who we are in the future. In NLP, there is this theory called, “Significant Emotional Experience”.
In our life,we have a number of significant emotional experiences. These are events that is easy to remember and will evoke certain emotions when we recall that event.
In NLP, we were taught to create as many POSITIVE significant emotional experiences as possible.
Example, if our team, whenever someone closes a case,he or she confirmed feel very happy. In the team, what we did, is we AMPLIFY his HAPPINESS by CELEBRATING his success TOGETHER! 🙂
We celebrate that moment together as a team. It is a culture imbued, cultivated in our team. Yes…We all celebrate the success together as a team! 🙂
You need to be surrounded by positive minded people because, everytime, you meet success and you share with the people surrounding you, you will receive positive responses.
These Positive Events + Positive Responses = Positive Significant Emotional Experiences
…and you know what? That is GOOD and HEALTHY.
What about negative people or worst hypocrites?
Stay away from them. They are like poison to kill you, without you knowing!

You see… I believe some of you who have been investing your money, witnessed a depreciation of value in your portfolio, especially investment in funds.
Your $100,000 investment is now $40,000 in value.
Your $50,000 investment is now $20,000 in value.
…and your $30,000 invesment is now $10,000 in value.
When emotions sets in, to most, they will panic and cry, telling themselves, “oh my god! I’m losing money…Have to sell, to CUT MY LOSSES”….
If you read my prior posts, I have already explain that, you do not lose money, if you do not sell your units. It is only known as “paper losses”. If you sell, you realised your loss.
The market will recover. Now is a good time to do top up or if you dont have spare cash, just hold on to your investments. The market will recover, for you to recover back your “paper loss” capital and then later make profit in the bull run.
Here are 2 main reasons,on why I say the market will recover.
1) Structure Of Index
You see, when you invest in index, in funds, you invest, in a group of “best” companies.
An index only retains the VERY BEST COMPANIES.
(USA) Dow Jones Index indicates performance of 30 largest capped American companies.
(USA) S&P’s 500 measures 500 best earnings performance companies.
(Singapore) STI Index measures top 29 representative companies.
(UK) FTSE 100 measures 100 most highly capitalised companies listed on London Stock Exchange.
(Japan) Nikkei 225 measures most watched Asian index.
(Hong Kong) Hang Seng measures 45 of the largest companies on HK stock exchange.
(China) SSE Composite tracks value of top 50 Chinese companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
If any of the best companies, in the index, dont do well, they get KICKED OUT, replaced by a better performing one.
Example for Dow Jones. In October 2008, AIG not performing, thus was removed and replaced by Food and Beverage Giant, Kraft.
2) Inflation
I always tell my client, “Today, you eat MacDonald, costs $7.
20 years later, you eat MacDonald, will cost you DOUBLE, $14.”
That is what we called INFLATION.
Rising cost of living results in prices of goods and services going up. This then result in revenue of companies to increase. Which is then reflected in the stock price.
The stock price contributes to the value of index. So….if stock price increase, the value of the index will also increase. When you buy your index at $1, and you later sell it at $2, you make money! 🙂
So….Ladies and gentlemen…If you have money in funds, hold it or do a top up now, to dollar cost average your investments. Make money! 🙂

I always asked my financially successful friends, on what drives them to work hard to make a lot of money.Many concur that, if one works hard, only being motivated by money, it is RARELY sustainable.
Especially in our job scope, when this month we have high commission, next month, we tend to slack or tend to rest, because we are so contented with our prior month’s paycheck. very bad
Sometimes, I’m just curious in seeing how,some people just get SUPER motivated and SUPER charged up to continue their high energy level and building momentum to work hard.
It gets me very curious…….and I started asking questions….. 🙂
What is the “driver” to make these people work hard?
What is the “motivational element” that makes these already financially successful people work hard?
Are they all in only for the MONEY?
I happened to ask 3 top financial consultants in my company, on the very reasons why they work hard. I will not name them for privacy.
The first one, tell me…”Helmi…I work hard because I NEED to support my family…I NEED to ensure that my wife, my children have enough food to eat. I will do whatever I can, to support them. I love them so much and they are EVERYTHING TO ME!!!”
So….I know, the first top financial consultant, works hard BECAUSE he needs to support his family.
The second top financial consultant, I asked the same question and he replied, “I work hard because feel syiokla see my face in newspaper. Shaking the CEO hand, collecting awards. I feel high, you know when seeing our colleagues whispering amongst each other saying top agent is coming….hahahhhaha”
So I know, the second top financial consultant, work hard BECAUSE of recognition.
The third , replied me with tears rolling down the cheek, “Recognition, all these, I dont need. In fact, I dont even attend all these ceremonies. I work hard promoting life insurance, because I have seen so many of my distant family members suffer because they do not have insurance when they need it. I feel SAD for them. I feel like that I am their only hope. I want to spread the message of the importance of insurance to everyone. If they do not want to listen to me, it is okay…at least I know, I have done my part…I need to help them…..”
I wrote this post, because I know, that there are many financial consultants out there reading my blog, and I will like to offer this strategy of encouragement for you to continue to work hard.
Find your energy “driver”, your purpose, on why you CHOOSE to be in this industry, and then insyallah…you will find that magnetic energy that will force you to surge forward to meet the demands of your job.
Are you in because you want to help people? Are you in because you want to support your family? …Or are you in because of recognition?
You know what? It doesnt matter!!! 🙂
Understand your values, your drivers….Remember, money is just a piece of paper. You can earn it and you can lose it in a split of a second.
When you clearly understand your values, you will move forward, taking consistent actions towards your goals without flinching in doubt of your daily life.
Yes…Identify your drivers NOW and live a purposeful life! 🙂
